5 Months Old Already...

Can’t believe Lane is 5mths old already, he changes so much everyday.

He is eating 3 baby food meals a day now, rice cereal morning/night and veggies at lunch time. So far he’s only had one veggie, carrots, but this weekend we will introduce green beans (hope they taste better than they look). When we play on the floor with him he rolls back and forth a lot now and when we set him up he is trying hard to balance on his own. He is still talking up a storm, when he’s playing and gets excited he squeals loud enough to break glass (at least it seems like it).

He has found his feet and loves to play with them, tries to sit-up and pull on them a lot. I have a feeling he’ll be sitting up on his own very soon…then lookout world he’ll be on the move next. Not that he ever stops moving now…he kicks and moves his legs more than any baby I’ve ever seen, I think sometimes if we let his feet touch the ground he would take off running. He loves to jump and kick, jump and kick, kick and jump…you get the picture. But, seriously he’s hard to hold on to sometimes because he’s so strong & wants to be on the move.

I’m extremely happy to report that he’s sleeping straight through the night at least 3-4 nights a week now. Heck I’ll take any days a week at this point…I forgot how nice it was to sleep for 8hrs straight…ahhhhh.
