1st Walk

I took Lane for his first outside walk in his stroller the other day. We actually had a couple nice days where temperatures made it into the 60's/70's so I bundled him up in a hat & blanket and headed out. It only took me around 10 minutes to figure out how to get the carrier into the stroller and open the stroller. :) We went outside around the corner about a block and a half away. He felt the wind on his face and looked around a lot, but unfortunately I think it was too close to dinner time because he got really fussy and we had to head back. Maybe next time daddy will go with us, but he doesn't much enjoy walks. I told him he would enjoy it as long as Lane was there, but we'll see.

He is growing big and strong and still changes so much everyday. He seems to really enjoy his sitter and I know she loves spending time with him. When we don't use her she sure does miss him...smart lady. I held Lane while standing on the scale yesterday to see if I could get an idea of his weight and it said around 15lbs!!! I figure it could be around 1lb off, but either way, he is growing big and strong. He loves to smile and talk up a storm with people. If you sit and read him a book he'll talk to you and he has so many facial expressions now it cracks us up.

We are working on trying to get him on his belly more to help strengthen his back and neck, but right now he'll only tolerate it for about 4-5 minutes before screaming. Have to keep trying though because its important to help him use those muscles.

He goes back to the doctor next month...gosh, I can't believe today he is 3 months old. Where did my little baby go? We love him so much!
