it's almost time...

Went to our 38 week visit and the doctor was a little surprised at my progress...I am 3cm, 70% effaced. Dr. Slone said she would very surprised if I didn't deliver before the weekend, so we've gotten pretty excited now and are ready to meet him!! They also did an ultrasound just to check his fluids and measurments, he is 7lbs 12oz. Big Boy! :)

We went to the mall last night when I got home from work and walked around for over an hour hoping that would move things along, but apparently not, because I'm still not contracting. I hope we have him this week because I am so very uncomfortable and I really want to hold him in my arms and get to know him. We've called the parents and advised them to have a bag packed, so when we call they can head out to meet their new grandson. Everyone can't wait to meet you Lane!
